As with all software patent cases, it's obviously all a load of bullshit.
BUT (big but) at least the aggressor actually has products - most of the time it's "patent holding companies" which simply buy bogus patents & use them to litigate without ever producing anything.
i4i sued Microsoft because Microsoft added functionality to Word that duplicates their add-on, which is presumably based on their patented technology. So it's somewhat less surprising.
